Due to the North Central location, the Crosstimber and Falling Brook communities feed into the North East Independent School District (NEISD) and with Point Bluff and Salado Canyon others into North Side East Independent School District (NISD). Additionally, The Montessori School of San Antonio is positioned at the entrance to the area. Public schools within NEISD that serve the Crosstimber community are Vineyard Ranch Elementary, Lopez Middle School, and Reagan High School.
